   I just remember that in Fiji, which for my money had the most clear-cut winner from so early on, it was still pretty enjoyable. So I don't even know if the editing is to blame. But it just used to be civil, aside from the occasional OTT CC post and they were nothing compared to a lot of the crap you see nowadays. It was like the one topic that avoided the whole Sucks mentality and now it not only embraces it, it's dominated by it. I never meant to jump ship but I just can't participate in it these days--it's just too draining. Just the same people being condescending and taking analysis of a reality show to pathetic new lows; the same people feeding into it by being unable to ignore it; and then GF and OTH and a few others adding an occasional semblance of sanity.

   Reply from Oowatanite: Edgic as we knew it is pretty much DEAD. There's a lack of quality participants. There's a lack of ongoing leadership. There's a lack of a moderator to combat the trolls and the spoilers and the stupid fights. The godawful editing the last several seasons has contributed mightily to the slow agonizing death of Edgic. China had good editing, Edgic just blew it. Micronesia's edit was much too lopsided against the fans. Survivor Gabon was TERRIBLE. Tocantins had good editing compared to lousy seasons like Fiji and CI and Gabon. Survivor Samoa has also been TERRIBLE once SEG directed the editors to devote 75% of the airtime to that Fat Troll RussHole. I have a feeling that this is the last season for Edgic. Warrior, flf and Phoenix probably want to back off from Edgic, and I cannot blame them at all for this. Another thread may be started to discuss editing and it may use terms like OTT and CP but it won't be "Edgic". And that's fine by me. IMHO Edgic has run it's course. 11/07/09

   Reply from Oowatanite: The BB forum was great at first with pretty much everybody cheering for the underdogs Jordan/Jeff/Michele and cheering against the bad guys Jessie, Natalie, Lydia, Ronnie and Chima. Then the CdE was used and Jessie was evicted and Chima went insane and was expelled and Lydiot went crazy and was evicted. Then we were left with Natalie and Kevin providing the only opposition to the "good guys". Since the feeds got so boring, a lot of the fraus in the BB forum turned on J/J just because they were discussing scenarios and alliances for the endgame. The feed watchers all know that N/K are lying to them but J/J obviously don't know that so they are keeping the two weak "leftovers" and backdooring sneaky untrustworthy Russell. The LFD thread has been a joke for the last few weeks and the haters (including several turncoats) are out in full force. I only go into the LFR and the Jordan/Jordeff/Michele fans threads now, probably til the end of the season. 08/26/09
